Care and Maintenance

To maintain the quality and longevity of your Baparda Closet products, including our delicate yet comfortable lawn fabrics, please follow these care instructions:

1. General Washing Instructions
Wash items in cold or lukewarm water (30°C) to preserve fabric quality and colors.
Hand washing is highly recommended, especially for delicate lawn fabrics.
Use mild, gentle detergents to avoid harsh chemical damage.
Wash dark and bright-colored items separately from white or light-colored items to prevent color bleeding.
Avoid soaking for prolonged periods to protect the delicate fibers of lawn fabric.
2. Fabric-Specific Care for Lawn
Lawn fabrics are delicate; handle them with care to maintain their softness and comfort.
Shrinkage may occur during the first wash and is natural for lawn fabrics. We have accounted for this in our designs and measurements.
3. Drying Instructions
Air dry items in the shade to protect colors and prevent fabric damage.
Avoid using tumble dryers as high heat may shrink or damage fabrics further.
Gently squeeze out excess water instead of wringing to maintain fabric shape.
4. Ironing Instructions
Use a low to medium heat setting when ironing lawn fabrics.
For delicate garments, place a cloth between the fabric and the iron or use a steam iron.
Avoid direct heat on embellishments, embroidery, or printed designs.

5. Storage Recommendations
Store garments in a cool, dry place to prevent moisture buildup and odor.
Hang Kurtis and trousers on padded hangers to avoid stretching or creasing.
Fold prayer scarves neatly and store them away from direct sunlight to retain their color.
6. Avoid Chemicals and Stains
Keep items away from bleach, harsh detergents, or fabric softeners.
Treat stains promptly with gentle stain removers, testing on a small area first.
